Children encouraged to learn about train engineering with new booklet

As part of the year of engineering, children were given a special lesson today and handed a book to explain how the rail network was built with the hope to get children engaged in the industry from as early an age as possible.

The summer holidays will see around 11 million trips made by children, all across the UK and at Kings Cross this afternoon, the new booklet was handed out before they embarked upon their journeys.
