Lord Nelson departs for Round Britain Challenge

The tall ship, The Lord Neslon, left the captial this afternoon on a 40-day Round Britain Challenge.

The sail commemorates 100 years since the end of the first world war, and the 40th anniversary of the Jubilee Sailing Trust, which owns the boat.

It's crew is made up of 144 cadets and injured veterans.

The former head of the British army, Lord Dannatt, who the race is named after, was on hand to see them off.
