Funding doubled to tackle London knife crime

The Home Secretary has announced he is doubling the funding to tackle rising levels of violent crime.

Sajid Javid confirmed that £22 million has now been earmarked for projects run by youth and community groups.

The news came as Mr Javid visited the Ben Kinsella Exhibition at Finsbury Library, which aims to help young people understand the impact of knife crime.
