Uncovering London's secret historic attractions

Following a call-out earlier this year for Londoners to share their knowledge of local monuments and shrines, Historic England says it's been dealing with hundreds of nominations. 

From a graveyard once used for paupers, to a bench where a wedding proposal took place, the capital's secret and lesser known community tributes are now set to form the basis for a new exhibition, with the hope of preserving the sites and monuments.

London Live spoke to Emily Gee from Historic England about the project.
