London’s Murder Rate ’Stabilised’

The Metropolitan Police commissioner says the capital's murder rate has stabilised, suggesting a special taskforce set up to tackle violent crime, is having an impact.

Cressida Dick's comments came as figures showed there were 5 murders in London last month, compared to an average of 15 a month at the start of the year.
