Rally for Heroes raises record amount

A convoy of 60 vehicles left Horse Guards Parade for a 3,000 mile trip across Europe.

The Rally for Heroes commemorates members of the armed forces who have lost their lives in Afghanistan.

This year's event also makes special recognition of the RAF's 100th birthday, and the Year of the Engineer campaign.

The 2018 Rally for Heroes aims to raise £100,000 for SSAFA, the UK’s oldest Armed Forces charity to continue its lifelong support to serving personnel, veterans and their families in need.
