Tower Hamlets offers thousands of children free meals at Summer School

One of the most deprived boroughs in the capital is offering children free meals as part of school clubs which have launched for the first time for the summer holidays.

In Tower Hamlets, the new initiative is also giving children an education in how to prepare their own food.

At Manorfield school, the children have cooked their own pizzas for lunch as part of the activities on offer.
