Redthread and Homerton Hospital tackle youth violence

The youth charity Redthread has linked up with a local hospital in hackney for the first time to tackle the rise in youth violence.

It is believed young people will visit their local A&E around 4 to 5 times before ending up in a major trauma clinic with life threatening injuries.

Homerton hospital will have Redthread workers onsite to provide direct support and intervention for the patients.
