With both house prices and the general cost of living soaring in recent years - moving back with parents is sometimes the only option.

MoneySuperMarket has explored the true cost of having the kids back at home and it's discovered that the Hotel of Mum and Dad is now bigger than the world's largest hotel chain

Over the last 20 years there has been a 33% increase in adults between the age of 18-34 living at home with their parents. On average for just under a year and paying approximately £6 per night.
