Battersea Arts Centre finally reopens after 2015 fire

Three years after it's Grand hall was badly damaged by fire - the Battersea Arts Centre has today re-opened that part of the venue, to launch it's autumn Phoenix Season.

In rebuilding the room, evidence of the fire was deliberately kept in place - a reminder of that chapter in its history.

The complex was nearing the end of a 13 million pound restoration, when the blaze hit in March 2015 - and opening the festival will be the very same show that was cut short by the fire.
