Legendary conductor Sir Simon Rattle will open a free music academy

Sir Simon Rattle of the London Symphony Orchestra has announced plans to open a music academy for young people in East London who don't have the opportunity to get in to classical music with the hope to make the art form more diverse and inclusive.

James Dickman caught up with him today at the home of the LSO on Old street to talk about that and the theme's behind the season of music ahead for the Orchestra.
