Baby on tracks at Goodge Street station
12th August 2014

A child in a buggy was blown on to the tracks at Goodge Street Underground station, just seconds before a train arrived.

Security footage released by British Transport Police, show a couple leaving the pushchair at the bottom of the stairs before wind blows it off the platform.

After realising what's happened, a panic-stricken woman rushes onto the tracks to carry the child to safety.

Officers are trying to trace the couple to ensure the child did not suffer any injuries.
