Cathy to return to London stage

A stage adaptation of the hard hitting film Cathy Come Home is set to return to the capital, following several successful runs.

It is more than 50 years since Ken Loach's landmark film was first broadcast, but the issues it raised, around gentrification, rising living costs, and forced relocation could not be more timely.

The theatre group Cardboard Citizens is behind the production of Cathy, and Adrian Jackson is their Artistic Director. Cathy is on at the Soho Theatre in March and April before touring and returns to the capital for a run at the Albany Theatre in May, 2018.
