Dawn drug raids arrest 126 people
20th August 2014

126 people were arrested in drug and gang crime raids in the early hours of Tuesday morning, ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival.

Four firearms, two of which were machine guns, along with £78,000 were seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

In Southwark, ingredients for making Crystal Meth were recovered and at another address half a kilo of cocaine was seized.

This is expected to impact the safety of the Notting Hill Carnival.
