'Every time it happens it brings it all back' says mother of stabbing victim'
25th June 2014

The mother of a schoolboy stabbed to death in Croydon says every teenage death prolongs her family's pain.

Fico Dougan was knifed through the chest in front of two teenage girls and a two-year-old toddler in September.

The Old Bailey heard the 17-year-old was the victim of a calculated and unprovoked attack.

Fico had never met his killer Urian Gardner.

Gardner, now 17, is today beginning a 14 year prison sentence for murder.
Fico's mum Sandra Opoku, told the Evening Standard: "After Fico died there's been nine or ten young people stabbed to death in London.
"Every time it happens it brings it all back."
