Four arrested in connection with 'suspicious' death of trainee pilot
20th June 2014

The death of a trainee pilot who collapsed outside a bar in Vauxhall is being treated as 'suspicious' by police.

A passerby called 999 after finding Adam Hird slumped on the floor in the early hours of Sunday morning outside Club No.65 in Albert Embankment.
He was taken to hospital but died on Tuesday.

Police have arrested and bailed four men aged between 21 and 50 in connection with the death. Investigating officers are also appealing for witnesses who they believe may have mobile phone footage.

No details of how the 30-year-old from Epping died have been released, but police said a post-mortem examination is due to take place at Greenwich Public Mortuary.

Lambeth council suspended the bar's licence on Wednesday after an emergency request by Scotland Yard.
