How will independent bookshops survive?

London's independent bookshops are having a tough time.

The rise of online retailers and e-readers has forced many of them to close over the past few years.

The situation has got so bad, that last week US author James Patterson pledged £250,000 to prevent anymore going under.

So how can they survive? Well one bookshop in Kensington is thriving by looking to the past rather than the future.
