Plans for royal barge visitor park slammed
24th June 2014

Plans to build a Cutty Sark style boathouse for the Queen's royal barge have been slammed by campaigners.

Residents in Twickenham oppose plans for a visitor centre in Orleans Park, saying it will ruin a cherished beauty spot.

Architect Norman Foster is designing the building to house Gloriana.

The vessel led the flotilla along the Thames for the Queens Diamond Jubilee.
