Restaurant apologises after waiter tells customer 'go back to your own country
25th June 2014

The owner of a Vietnamese restaurant in Hackney has apologised after a waiter allegedly told a diner to go back to her own country.

Jude Kay, whose family comes from Uganda, says he made the remark after asking her to switch tables.

Her friend then filmed the waiter defending his actions to his manager.

Any Quong, who runs Song Que in Hoxton, says the waiter was tired having worked all day.
