A third person has been charged with the murder of 25-year-old Ashley Latty in Dagenham.

Kestrel Daniel Dyer, 25, of Barking was charged with murder this morning and is set to appear at Thames Magistrates Court.

Two other men have also been charged with his murder. Nana Oppong, 34, of no fixed abode and Adam Penny, 23, of Whitechapel appeared at the Old Bailey on Thursday and have been remanded in custody.

A further two people have been arrested in connection with the killing.

A 25-year-old man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder. A 24-year-old woman was also arrested on the same day on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both were taken to an east London police station where they remain in custody.

Ashley Latty, from Leyton, was knifed outside The Beaver Centre in Selinas Lane in the early hours of Sunday, May 18.

He was treated at an east London hospital for his injuries but died later the same morning.

A post mortem examination confirmed the cause of death was multiple stab wounds.
