Virtual Reality comes to the classroom

Pupils at a primary school in Leyton have been on trips to an active volcano, the Great Barrier Reef and even the top of Everest - all without leaving their classroom (perhaps to the relief of their parents).

The virtual reality lessons at Downsell Primary School are part of a wider plan by a tech firm to help 300,000 students in the capital become digital explorers.
