Wealthy Businessman Attacked
19th May 2014

Hampstead residents say they're living in fear of an armed motorcycle gang.

In the latest in a series of ram-raids, robbers armed with hammers attacked a man in his 50's near Hampstead Heath.

CCTV footage shows how the man tried to fight the robbers off with a broom, but they tore a £60,000 watch from his arm before fleeing.

The man who doesn't want to be identified says the robbery has left him traumatised, and now plans to move abroad. It's thought the same thieves targeted the home of Watford footballer Alexander Merkel last week.
