Love is all around at the Coca-Cola London Eye this Valentine's Day

Voted one of the most romantic destinations in the UK, the iconic London Eye will be playing cupid by laying on a range of enticing Valentine's Day experiences for lovers visiting the capital starting from February 12 until the 14th.

This year the "Only Have Eyes for You" Cocktail Experience, Champagne River Cruise, Valentine’s Cupid’s Capsule and Champagne Experience are amongst the selection available to lovebirds – all served with the most breathtaking views of London.

The cocktail experience aims to delight the senses. Couples can indulge in two expertly crafted cocktails; the first being the signature "Love Potion No.9" with sensual Madagascan vanilla and Belgian chocolate, guests can then choose between "Poetry in Motion" - with dark rum, fig and fizz, or "Love is All Around" with a fruity rhubarb and apricot aroma.

Guests looking to take their love to new heights can choose the Valentine’s Day Champagne Experience. The lucky couple will be served a crisp glass of champagne alongside a box of luxury chocolates whilst taking in the exquisite 360 degree views of London.

For those looking for the ultimate romantic experience, the London Eye will be offering a private Valentine’s Cupid’s Capsule. Lovers can enjoy the stunning views of London's skyline exclusively from a private capsule for two - with a bottle of champagne and a luxury box of pink champagne truffles, all served by a personal host.

Alongside the capsule experiences, the London Eye will also be offering a romantic river cruise complete with spectacular sightseeing. Guests will embark on a romantic journey along the River Thames whilst sipping on a chilled glass of champagne.

London Eye spokesperson, Stephanie Francis said: "The Coca-Cola London Eye offers the finest range of romantic experiences for those looking to celebrate their special day in the most stunning setting – our spectacular views of London combined with our delightful offerings are sure to create those extra special romantic memories."

Iconic landmark on the lookout for Londoners who are keen to pop the question

The Coca-Cola London Eye is planning an extraordinary Valentine’s Day for one special couple, encouraging a budding romantic to pop the question in style – as part of its amorous celebrations this month.

Ahead of Valentine’s Day, lighting will be installed on the London Eye to illuminate it as a giant engagement ring, in classic diamond solitaire style – which will be visible from across the capital.

Ms Francis adds: "We have decided to heed the words of the great Beyoncé this Valentine’s Day and have decided to 'put a ring on it'... So we are encouraging Londoners-in-love who have found their match to do the same and join us this Valentine's at one of the most romantic hotspots in the world.

"If you are thinking about getting down on one knee this Valentine’s Day and want to do it in style, then we want to talk to you. We want to help someone to deliver an unforgettably epic proposal."

The London Eye, famed for its spectacular 360 degree views of London’s skyline has already been the location of more than 5000 proposals but this year will make Valentine’s Day extra-memorable for one lucky couple with this very special engagement surprise. Watch this space on how to get in touch.
