In this episode of London Live Debate, presenter Reya El-Salahi asks: Should the hijab be banned in schools?
It's a discussion sparked by Ofsted's calls for the government to do more to support teachers to make "tough decisions" after the head of St Stephen's primary school in Newham tried to ban girls under the age of eight from wearing the headscarf. The school later backed down under pressure from parents and has since apologised, calling the decision a "huge error in judgment".
This week's panel includes the women and children's rights advocate Dr Diahanne Rhiney, the lawyer and columnist Andrew Kollington and the co-organiser of London's Women's March Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu.
A panel of straight-talking, opinionated Londoners discuss the stories making headlines in the capital.
