‘Hackney Holocaust Memories’ new film of survivors in East London
Survivors of the holocaust who built new lives for themselves in Hackney have been telling their stories for the first time in a new film documentary.
The idea for the piece came from the Community Advance Project, a charity which support marginalised communities across London through development and awareness. ]#
Tanya spoke to Suj Ahmed, the director of the film who gave his insight on what it was like making ‘Hackney Holocaust Memories’ which is launching at the Hackney Picture House on the 25 November.
