ENG-ER-LAND on stage at the King’s Head Theatre

We’ve heard about tonight’s Euros semi-final as England take on the Netherlands. There are thousands of fans in Dortmund today supporting the Three Lions, but what about the state of the game closer to home.

Coventry City fan Hannah Kumari’s smash hit ENG-ER-LAND is coming to the King’s Head Theatre and focuses on what it mean’s to be English, and where does football fit into that.

The beautiful game is improving, but still faces some barriers with only 22 male professional players in the UK coming from south Asian heritage.

Hannah has been speaking to Henry about how she first came up with the idea ahead of it showing at the King’s Head Theatre from the 25th July till the 10th August.
