What it is to be British Chinese in London today?

London is often thought of as a melting pot of communities, with its multicultural DNA making it so special.

But many people from mixed heritages are still struggling to feel they belong. New production ‘The Dao of unrepresentative British Chinese experience’ is a semi autobiographical journey on stage by acclaimed actor Daniel York Loh.

His show is a psychedelic gig-theatrical punk rock riff on what path to choose and which identity politics to embrace. Shadia sat down with Daniel to discuss what it is to be British Chinese today and what exactly audiences will experience.
