Smoking with kids in the car could become illegal
27th August 2014

As a consultation on changes to the law closes, it soon could be an offence to smoke in a private car with passengers under 18.

If the plans go through drivers could face a fine of fifty pounds if they are caught smoking in a car with kids.

Legislation could make a cigarette ban in cars a normal as wearing a seatbelt.
