30 Years of the Gay TImes

The Gay Times celebrates it's 30th anniversary. 
The publication has printed an issue every month since 1984 and in the studio to talk about how the magazine has changed over the years, is Gay Times journalist Benjamin Butterworth


They have carried out interviews with people that have influenced the Gay culture over the 30 year including, Barbara Streisand and Joan Rivers

The tone of the magazine has changed throughout the years, from it’s beginning in  campaigning to a more mixed coverage of lifestyle and politics, reflecting the change in the broader experience of gay people in the UK.
