Emergency meeting called on Ebola crisis

The Prime Minister will hold an emergency meeting today about the Ebola crisis. Currently, there is only one isolation unit here in London at the Royal Free in Hampstead.

The first person to contract the virus outside of West Africa, was reported yesterday, being that of a Spanish nurse who was infected when treating a Spanish missionary who died from the disease in Madrid. 

So far people have been treated for the virus in London, but non have contracted it in the UK.

Yvonne Doyle, London director of Public Health England explains what can be expected from the meeting.
