Suspected Islamist terror from Ladbroke Grove named

One of the men thought to be involved in a plotting a terrorist attack has been named as 21-year-old medical student

Hassane was said to be a ‘good student’ who became radicalised, and is thought to have spent time in Syria.

Him and three others were arrested yesterday morning in a series of raids across London.  Officials say the operation may have foiled the early stages of a planned attack.

The Metropolitan Police said counter-terrorism officers had arrested the four men  “on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

The four arrested men remain in custody at central London police stations.

Houses and vehicles are currently being searched by specialist officers.
