Is the general public interested in the Man Booker Prize? Should we be?
Our panel discuss what the Man Booker Prize really means - is it so prestigious or is it little more than word of mouth? The prize recently opened up to include any author writing in the English language, rather than just authors from the commonwealth, which has proven to be a contentious move. Are the complaints just criticism for the sake of it or has changing the prize elementally had a negative impact?
The panel is: General Manager of Opera Holland Park, Michael Volpe; Comedian, Kim Hope and Editor of the Kensington and Chelsea Review, Coco Khan.
