Half of children in parts of London live in poverty

London has 14 out of the top 20 local authorities with the highest rates of child poverty in the UK.

Tower Hamlets has the highest rate in the country with nearly half of all children living in poverty.

Megan Jarvie is from Child Poverty Action Group, she explains why London is particularly bad, and what effect it can have.
