A film festival inspired by London Imperial War Museum

The Imperial War Museum is hosting a Short Film Festival, with a variety of films exploring war, conflict and its impact on people's lives.

The filmmakers brief:

They have to be imaginative, challenging films inspired by the museums collections.

Shortlisted filmmakers are both amateur and professional filmmakers, focusing on a wide range of war-related subject from the First and Second World Wars through to conflicts in Vietnam, Syria and Ukraine.

There will be a public screen of the films on the 7th of December, but before that we get a sneak peek at the nominees.
