Penny for London: Charity does contactless

Boris Johnson today unveiled new charity scheme ‘Penny for London’. The scheme was set up to help young Londoners from disadvantaged backgrounds across London. 

Devised by the Mayor’s Fund for London, Penny for London marks a change in how people can donate to charity. It aims to take advantage of the ease of contactless payment cards. 

The panel on Not The One Show consisting of comedian Tez Ilyas, Journalist Amira Hashish and Siraj Datoo, Political Reporter at BuzzFeed decide if this is a good idea.
