An eagle eye view of London
20th November 2014

London is known for it's beautiful skylines but have you ever wondered what it was like from a bird's eye view?
A camera was attached to the back of a white tailed eagle called Darchan to film stunning footage to offer a new perspective of the capital.

London landmarks such as City Hall, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Olympic Park are visible, as is the head of the bird while it soars across the city.

The stunt was part of the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s campaign, to commemorate fifty years of its Red List of threatened species.
