Who made the cut at the British Hairdressing Awards?
24th November 2014

For the past thirty years, the British Hairdressing Awards have been rewarding the best in British hairdressing, giving nine regional awards and recognising six specialist categories.

The awards were set up to celebrate "creativity, innovation and inspiration" within the hairdressing industry. Awards are granted to everyone from front of house teams, to business directors, to salon assistants.

Louise chatted to Andrew Colllinge who has won an award twice in the past.

She also spoke to Jamie Stevens, who is perhaps best known for being the stylist on X-Factor.

Richard Ashforth, who began his career under Vidal Sassoon, spoke about why the awards are so well regarded.

Louise also spoke to organiser Jayne Lewis-Orr and British Hairdresser of the Year nominee Akin Konizi.
