Playout pitch: Miss Hope Springs
25th November 2014

Miss Hope Springs is a comedy cabaret wonder who serves her songs with a "sequinned frosting of Vegas glitz." Those may be her words but it's hard to disagree.

With Vegas now just a memory, her Christmas show "Now It's Christmas Time" is headed to St James Theatre on December 2nd.

Miss Hope Springs, a 6ft 2in “ex-Vegas showgirl” created by pianist Ty Jeffries, plays all-original songs and regales her tales “from the Ritz to the pits.”

She won The Stage’s Best Cabaret 2013 award and was nominated the best musical variety act in the London Cabaret Awards 2015.

Anthony Baxter and Louise Scodie caught up with the vintage Vegas star for a chat ahead of her playout pitch.
