Veterans Aid: about more than just a home for Christmas
4th December 2014

Homeless veterans are a sad, disappointing part of British life, and it has long been known things must change. George Osborne announced in his Autumn statement a major boost for homeless servicemen and women in the capital and pledged a £3million grant to help save and extend a hostel in East London run by Veterans Aid.
Veterans aid is being backed this year by the Evening Standard and London Live. CEO of Veterans Aid, Dr Hugh Milroy spoke with London Live to discuss the work they do, the challenges they face and the difference the charity appeal will make.
