Shoreditch serves up a winter's musical treat
8th December 2014

The Spitalfields Music Winter Festival is an 11 day celebration of music spanning across east London.

The event sees a number of artists and musicians from established professionals to school children performing everything from Christmas carols to jazz to Baroque masterpieces.

London Live's Luke Blackall went to St. Leonard's Church in Shoreditch, one of the venue's at this year's festival. There he spoke to Kate Kelly, programme director of the event and Clare Salaman, who is directing a performance by the Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments, to find out more.
