Film Caribbean UK comes to London

Film Caribbean UK begins today at Picturehouse cinemas across London.

The festival is celebrating the Caribbean and its film industry, and hopes to forge a clearer identity of what Caribbean culture is, in much the same way Bollywood has helped promote some facets of India.

The mini-festival will premiere films from Antigua, St. Maarten, Barbados, Guyana and even London.

It will show everything from supernatural thrillers to comedies.

There will also be performances from poet Victor Richards and musician JJ Soulx at some venues.
