Live from Slava's Snowshow

It’s back for an unprecedented third season at the Southbank Centre.

After sell-out performances last year, Slava’s Snowshow returns to the London just in time for Christmas.

Described as "theatrical brilliance", theatre goers can expect a giant glowing spider web covering the audience, gigantic balloons and to be left literally knee-deep in snow.

The show has been around the globe entertaining audiences in 80 countries and gathering up a few awards along the way too.

The stars of the show are the fools. The Snowshow is home to the Academy of Fools and they live by some very strict and silly rules. Here are our favorite foolish facts:

Yellow clown formula.

It takes hundreds of green clowns to make one yellow clown when we get lucky. After 40 years of making clown shows, they have no more than 4 active yellow clowns. We consider them to be the rarest species in the world.

Seriously silly.

Slava’s clowns train to be silly no less than 8 hours and 14 minutes per day with no coffee break.

Every tour in the world must include a beautiful picnic experience in an awesome location.

Every fool makes his own tailor made nose.
