This week London Live is meeting young people who have made 2014 a game changing year and the city a better place to live. Maleena Pone went to meet them to find out how they are changing perceptions, policy and people's lives in the capital.

Today Maleena spoke to Ashvarya Madhani, 16, from Ealing.

She joined parliamentarians from around the country to debate topics chosen by their peers at the House of Commons in November. Her work with UK Youth Parliament entails promoting community cohesion in her local borough and working on the Votes at 16 campaign.

Ashvarya Madhani, joined Headline London along with other game-changing individuals making the city a better place. They discuss how the capital is changing, and what needs to be done to carry on this good work.
