Gamble for your supper at Hackney pop up

You might not normally fancy taking a gamble on your supper, but at the poker pop up restaurant in Hackney, how well you do at a few rounds of poker determines how much you pay for your meal.

London Live's Luke Blackall went to the pop up to try his hand at a game of cards, hopefully get fed and see if it's really an ace place to be. He interviewed owner Andy Jones to see what inspired him to start the pop up and whether the house always wins in this particular establishment.

The restaurant gives punters a chance to play for a £50 meal and a cocktail for free. Every customer is given 10,000 chips to begin with an is sat down at a gambling baize. After some hands, those with 10,000 or more chips will get their meal for free. Those with 5,000 to 10,000 pay £5 and those who bomb - call it bad luck - will pay £10.

The restaurant will run until January 27.

Luke also spoke to some of those enjoying the resturant to see what they thought, and whether they were on a winning streak.
