Brixton businesses unhappy over railway eviction

National Rail are hoping to redevelop the area nearby to Brixton’s railway arches. 

This week it wrote to business owners informing them of their plans, which may mean the site is shut for 12 months or more. 

It means many shop owners and market traders beneath the arches face eviction later this year. 

London Live spoke to those who will be affected to hear their thoughts about the proposals.
