From the pages of 21 books to the screen Harry Bosch makes his debut
12th February 2015

The star of 21 novels, with a 22nd due for November this year, LAPD detective Harry Bosch has made the leap to the screen in Amazon’s new drama.

Author Michael Connelly, whose works have sold 58 million copies and been translated into 39 languages, and Titus Welliver, who plays Bosch in the series, joined London Live’s TV editor Toby Earle to talk about his transition from page to TV in this ten-part series.

Fans of the books will be pleased to hear why Connelly is so happy with the series and how the attention to detail is so great, why the police department presented in the show couldn’t be any more realistic (certain famous cameos aside). Welliver also relates exactly what sort of guy the detective is and how his personality would influence his peculiar choice of must-do activity in London.
