Sadler’s Wells launches 12th flamenco festival

Gala Flamenca, the annual season of flamenco dance and music, has returned to Sadler’s Wells for its 12th incarnation.

The festival celebrates the breadth of flamenco. This year it will be directed by Angel Rojas, and features Spanish star Antonio Canales, Jesus Carmona and Karime Amaya.

Curator Miguel Marin sat down with London Live's Maleena Pone to discuss what the festival is all about, why it's so striking to watch and what people can expect if they head down to see it.
