Dilapidated Croydon shops taken over by street artists

An aging shopping precinct was given a new lease of life thanks to a street artist.

Femme Fierce, a collaborative of female street artists, took over Croydon’s St George’s Walk during the weekend.

Murals were painted around the dilapidated mall – which has been dubbed part of the new “art quarter” in Croydon.
