How has Chinese society influenced modern art?

British Chinese people are ‘invisible’ in the UK art scene, according to one art director.

David Tse said the Chinese Art Space (CAS), of which he is Creative Director, is making moves to give British-Chinese artists a platform to celebrate their work.

“Being British and Chinese you’ve got a slightly wider palette to choose from,” he told London Live.

“That’s the heart of it. Culturally in the UK we’re slightly invisible but CAS provides a platform for the quality work these artists are doing in the UK.”

London Live will broadcast all the colour, music and action from Trafalgar Square and across the capital in a live special programme on Sunday from 3pm: Live from London: Chinese New Year.
