Local authorities are missing specific arthritis care

One in four local authorities are missing the health needs of people with arthritis.

In London, more than 280,000 people over the age of 45 suffer with hip problems, while nearly 20 per cent of the capitals population suffer with knee trouble.

According to Arthritis Reserach UK, who pulished the findings, it will create huge problems for local health and social care services in the future.

The charities Chief Executive Dr Liam O’Toole joined LondonLive News to discuss these findings.
